History: from Piedmont to the hills of Upper Umbria in the wake of the Savoy officials. These are the historical traces that testify to the establishment of the vine in the Eugubino estates, after the Unification of Italy in 1861. A happy establishment, which guarantees the wine a quality much appreciated at the beginning of the twentieth century. The aim of rediscovering, as Luigi Veronelli said, a wine "of beautiful balance, complete in taste and not lacking in elegance and substance" (I Vini d'Italia, 1961).

 

Colour: intense red. Bouquet: floral hints, of red fruits, vanilla and spices. Taste: warm and soft in the mouth, with mineral notes. Grapes: Dolcetto 90%, Merlot 10%. Pairings: appetizers, platters of cold cuts and cheeses, first courses with white truffle, pasta with meat sauce, red meats. Serving temperature: 19 °C.
