Type: the Sericum by Terre de la Custodia is a wine that specifically falls into the category of still dry red wines, with a blend based mainly on Sangiovese from Umbria, as required by the Montefalco Rosso DOC production regulations. Color: intense and bright ruby red. Aroma: complex hints of black cherries, vegetal notes, and sweet spices. Taste: structured, smooth wine with excellent drinkability, the latter aided by vigorous freshness. Grapes: Sangiovese and other varieties permitted by the production regulations. Pairings: it pairs well with structured first courses, main courses based on stewed red meats, pork, roasts, game, and stews, excellent with cured meats and aged or spicy cheeses. Serving temperature: 18 °C.
